François Willème (1830–1905) was a French artist (painter, sculptor and photographer) who developed and patented a process for producing portrait sculpture using synchronized photo projections to create photosculptures.
This scan originates from Oliver Laric's initiative 'threedscans'. It is part of an ongoing project by Laric, titled 'Versions', which deals with historical and contemporary ideas relating to image hierarchies.
