Just like the dodecahedron beads, these are made for easy printing, and for generally providing more octohedral goodness in your life.

Printing Details
The internal curves mean that this will print pretty easily without supports. You might want to think about rafts or brims, depending on your confidence in your bed adhesion, though, since there's not a huge amount of surface area in contact with the bed. Then again, they're only little prints, so it's not a big deal if one fails!
