Description
I designed a clamp for mount KLIQ MetroPitch on bell, to keep eye, when practice on my sax. Still, this thing fit for some others brass instrument.
Strongly recommend to use ABS or HIPS, cause PLA and PC is to rigid, you can scratch or even bend your horn.
Printing Details
Model optimized for:
Layer height: 0.15mm
Nozzle: 0.4mm
4 shell
Warning! Check generated gcode, you must see a gap between hinge parts, as it's see on picture.
Post-Printing
1. Calibrate hinge hole to 3 mm, then separate hinge parts from each others (knife can be needed). As axis use M3x12 screw with nut, tighten as necessary.
2. Glue the felt(3-4 mm thickness) to the jaws of clamp.
