I had to fix a tomato squeezer ( Palumbo LS-Plast) having a damaged gear in the reduction system ( Z18 2,5 mm module, 20° pressure angle with 15 mm diameter shaft & 5mm keyway ). I wasn't able to find a replacment, so I modeled one in Catia V, and prited first sample iin PETG to check the design and a definitive part in stronger ABS (orange).
Note this design use a real involute profile, not cirular arc thooth profile you can find easily on the web.
Now the Squeezer is ready again to produce hundreds of tomato's sauce bottles!!
layer 0.15 mm material 70% infill : ABS (with a bit of cooling on layers done in less than 60 seconds) printed in a carboard case ( avg temp 40°C), or PETG (no case, no special printing setup).
