I am a hobby 3D printer with a "MakerBot Replicator 5th Generation 3D Printer", and a "FormLabs Form 1+ High Resolution 3D Resin Printer". With a good design to begin with, I can print excellent models and perform reasonable post-print finishing. I have published several designs here on MMF and others on Thingiverse (as "mswarden").
