hexagon LED light panel. excited to share this one! this is a polypanel with an LED strip built into it so you can easily add light to your designs.
Requires some soldering! with short little lengths of wire!
planning to design some circular panels that snap onto frame so you can also have a more diffused light or where you could pop a opaque panel on the back if you don't want light coming out both sides.
LED strip is just a little too long so i folded one LED into cavity with power jack. Definitely want to think of a more elegant way to adress that in future version. didn't actually solder wires to the LED strip because i found i could push power jack into slot and wires would press against contacts on strip (see images) but you could solder them if you wanted.
support material in the power jack cavity is pretty easy to break out if you try to release the top and bottom from print then push support material with the flat end of a pencil toward the inside of hexagon.
hexagon light panel bottom frame requires support to create the cavity the power jack slides into.
angle 50
density 15%
