Baby Bottle Training Grips - Medela
Baby Bottle Training Grips - Medela

This is a single-piece hand grip that goes on a 5oz Medela baby bottle, to help your little one learn to hold up the bottle herself. It goes on underneath the bottle lid, and three small crush-tabs on top automatically adjust to the bottle and lid, for a snug fit regardless of printer calibration. The design has been graciously (and sometimes not-so-graciously) beta tested by my 6-month-old daughter. Obviously, let your baby use these grips only with supervision; they are for learning, and not intended to be a chew toy.
Print at 0.3mm layer height, with at least a 25% infill and 1.5mm thick shell. This will take between 2 and 2.5 hours, and use 23g to 38g of filament. There are some small baked-in supports at the base of each handle (optimized for 0.5mm extrusion width); remove them with flush cutters or a hobby knife and make sure there are no sharp edges left.
