Why should the world's best 3d printing podcast (Available on iTunes and Stitcher radio) have a 2d business card? This simple PLA printed embosser is assembled using a piece of 3mm filament as the hinge. A vise, or a pair of vice-grip locking pliers, provides the needed force.
The two stl files should load in their enmeshed configuration so all you need to do is position your 3d artwork in between them and boolean it out of the top part and onto the bottom part. Then print the parts separately and join them using a piece of 3mm filament for a hinge pin.
