This is a Print In Place fold up cube robot! All the joints move, and the legs fold up into the body, making it easy to print, and harder to break. It was designed in autodesk fusion 360, and because of the higher tolerances between joints, can be printed down 50% it's original scale! (this does depend on the tolerance of your printer and nozzle etc).
As always this isn't from anything in particular, but looks cool as a toy, or just an ornament.
Thanks for downloading :)
At smaller sizes, a raft is recommended, especially if you have difficulty getting a decent adhesion to your build surface, and if you print at high speeds. Supports are not needed, however could be used if your printer doesnt like over hangs.
If you wish to print in composite materials (wood, metals etc) the reinforced model is less brittle, and less likely to snap.
Note: resizing the model (especially downsizing) will affect movement in the design. If you wish to have a small version of the model, make the holes between joints bigger, or ask.
