This is a 3D Printer Project i wanted to build because the current nice priced 3D Printers were great, @ $150 up to $200 for a standard 220x220x240 or 8"x8"x9" or 8"x8"x11". However the parts i needed printed require printing in sections.
And for most of my Major Parts that would be 8 parts @ 4 hour prints or 32 hours of printing.
So i decided to use my other 2 3D Printers as parts to make a larger and extra strong 440x440x300 Printer where i can print the parts i need in one print.
So i am using my Remaining Delta Kossel 180x330 Printer to print the parts i need.
So all the prints listed in the Project were made on the Delta Kossel printer which i will be upgrading to a 330x330 printer.
I'm also going to use and remix current Anet, Tronxy and Pursia Printed parts and mod them to work with my Project.
as of 5/24/2017: Final got the printer put to together, did a dry run and worked great.
now i have to print a few more items, enclose it and it will be ready to start printing my Comic-Con items in 1 print.
Next project will be to upgrade or make my Kossel Delta Printer Larger. from a 180x300 up to 220 maybe even 330.
As of 5/31/2017:
Printer is working and printing my larger Items.
The above printer all parts were made from ABS at 240 Hotend, 110 Hotbed and .2 mm at 80 % infill with a .5 mm Tip.
Final part is a 1/2 inch PVC Frame with Corrugated side panels.
I've replaced the old Thermostat with a 25A Expansion Board General Heated Bed http://www.ebay.com/itm/172569448851
Final step will be to add extra Lighting inside the cabinet with a remote camera to view progress. I'm sure everyone here knows how to add extra Lighting and a camera for remote viewing. So there will ne no need to add them.
Good luck in your build, Hopefully this project will help you decide what you need.
