This piece prints in one piece and its size is limited to the size of your print-bed. The model provided will print on a 200x200mm print-bed at 25mm scale(just about right for a small pyramid), but this model can easily be scaled up to larger sizes for epic scenery pieces. Caution, printing large pyramids may need small supports added below ledges.
If you wish to scale larger and you do not have a large enough print-bed, we suggest that you slice the model up into four quarters using your favourite 3D modelling software or Meshmixer for example.
This pyramid pack also includes two different top pieces you can place on the main ziggurat, a Sun Throne and an Altar. These additional pieces will print in one go with no supports. We recommend that you use a layer height of 20 microns or below to get the maximum resolution out of the detail provided.
The Sun Throne comes in a standard and HiRES mode. The HiRES mode has a very detailed texture on the medallion which is really meant for high end or SLA printers. If you wish to print this texture out correctly with an FDM printer, you will have to lower the layer height to 10 microns and reduce the print speed to below 20mm/s and use a small nozzle size.
