A great tool for any Batman-in-training. The edges are rounded and oversized to make it easier to hold, and the center piece can be printed to the color of any of your favorite Batman(s?). I went with classic yellow, but red and blue are also great choices. I imagine Bruce Wayne would have made a similar batarang for baby Damien.
Please remember, this is a prop and not meant to be thrown. Like any solid object, it can hurt if it's thrown at you and can break if hit hard enough against the ground. Read printing details for notes on increasing the strength.
The picture shows the 1 mm offset inside piece, but the 0.5 mm offset will have less chance of chipping or denting.
I found great results printing with a high number of perimeter layers at standard resolution.
The pegs can be difficult to size based on your particular printer settings. I have included the ones that worked for me, but if you'd like to try your hand at your own, the slots are hexagons measuring 7.3 mm face to face. I included a picture for reference.
