Steam Braille Game Directions
Materials: Board (specially designed), cards (specially designed) lettered (A to P) , 2 or more players
1. Put Board on Flat surface and put all cards in slots (place randomly)
2. Run hand lightly over each card to memorize which card (A, B, C, ect.) goes where or look at and memorize cards
3. 1st player will say to find a random letter like A
4. 2nd player tries to remember where card is. If 2nd player finds the correct card they take card out and keep it next to them which counts as their point. If they guess incorrect card other player takes card and gets a point.
5. Switch. Players go back and forth until there are no cards left. Player with most cards win.
Notes: The slots holding the cards are also helpful to find a letter. For example, if you know that A is 3 over and two down on the 16 slot grid, you can use the slots to see which is over by three by counting how many you touch. This is useful because you can't feel the cards in a game.
For best results, print the game board with supports. You will need two separate print jobs for the board and the game pieces. If you want to print the game pieces with two colors, select the appropriate stl files and use Palette or the dual extrusion properties of your printer. Different variations of the board and pieces have been printed on a Type A Series 1 Pro and Ultimaker 3 Extended with no issues.
