Echo dot (2nd gen) freaks you out? Alexa calling home when you least expect it? Break out your tin-foil hat and dress Alexa up in a sporty but yet classic UFO stand. This spacecraft falls in with just a 5.9" diameter and can be printed in your choice of colors or with a little extra patience and a steady hand, a custom paint job.
I printed with Inland PLA+ (at 225), .2mm. Only the legs and bottom had support because of the shape of them. The rest I did with infill of 5 and no support. Clean the edges and note how I rotated the legs when I inserted and then rotated back to snap in place. I didn't need glue to hold things in place but the top does remove easily if I need to get inside. Don't forget, you will need to printe 3 legs and 3 feet.
To address the concern that the ring diameter was off, I could not find any issues from the files I have and what was uploaded. 135.65mm ID/139.65 OD. If anything the tolerance may be a bit tight to the top and bottom. I uploaded v2 of the ring which I made about .5mm thinner but have not tested with an actual print.
