The Manual Drill Hand Drill: -
Slowing the eventual machine take-over - one step at a time!
I designed this manual drill because I've found that many times during projects or a bit of DIY - a lighter manual touch is what I need more than heading for the drill.
I've often made mistakes. or simply not ended up with what I wanted when drilling holes to put parts together.
I designed this hand drill using solidworks to be used with a set of hexagonal ended drill-bits.
Step 1 - All pieces printed out.
Step 2 - Slide the push handle over the drill
Step 3 - Push the piece with the rotating pin onto the top of the drill
Step 4 - Push the handle ontop of the rotating pin
Step 5 - Push hexagonal ended drill bits into the end of the drill
These parts were printed in PLA at a layer resolution of 0.2mm
Open the files and place on the print bed in the orientation that the open in.
