1. Download the .stl files
2. I printed both the dial and the stand on a PRUSA i3 MK2s with heated bed. It is pretty important that the dial be
perfectly flat which is why I chose my PRUSA printer.
3. I used Slic3r with PRUSA settings set for NO Supports and NO Raft
4. The dial prints in about 5 hours and the stand in 2 hours depending on your layer settings and printer.
5. After printing the dial, highlight the tops of the numbers with a BERIC royal blue paint pen. Of course you can
use whatever color you like. You need to go slow and carefully so you only paint the tops of the numbers. It is
best to get the paint started on a piece of paper and try painting some other parts as you may have to get a
feel for how the paint flows. If you do get some specs of paint on the surface of the dial LET IT DRY. Don’t try
and wipe it off as it just gets worse. After drying I used an X-ACTO knife to just scratch the bad spot off the
surface of the dial (some PLA may scratch off as well but you most likely will not notice it.)
6. Be sure to let the painted numbers dry over night before proceeding with the rest of the assembly.
7. Clock assembly instructions may come with your order from Klockit. If not try this..
   • Slip the black rubber washer over the movements threaded shaft
   • Push the movement into the center hole in the dial from the back (It is a snug fit depending on how the
      printing went - if it is too tight try opening the hole with a round file or some rolled up fine sand paper - if
      you prefer to use a drill the size should be 5/16”. (Always observe safety when using power tools!)
   • Place the large brass washer over the shaft from the front and secure with the large brass nut. Before
      the final tightening be sure the movement is “squared up” with the dial and the battery compartment is at
      the bottom. The large nut only has to be snug. Don’t over tighten.
   • Next push the shorter hour hand onto the smooth white portion of the shaft. Once pushed all the way
      down you can turn it by hand as it is just a “press fit”; but don’t turn too hard as you may bend the hand.
   • Now place the longer minute hand over the smallest part of the shaft. Notice the hole in the hand is D
      shaped NOT round so you need to rotate until it is aligned with the D shaped shaft and drops down.
   • Now screw the small knurled nut onto the D shaped shaft. This part is tricky and easy to get “cross
      threaded” so take your time. If you did it right the nut should turn VERY FREELY as it tightens. Finger
      tight is all that is needed to keep the minute hand in place.
   • Now you can slip the sweep second hand over the very tiny shaft inside the D shaped shaft and push
      gently until it will not go on any farther. It usually does not go all the way down so don’t push too hard as
      the second hand is pretty easy to bend. (If you don’t want a second hand use the brass cap nut instead)
   • Initial hand alignment is done by rotating the hour hand down to the 6. While gently holding the hour
      hand so it won’t turn rotate the minute hand until it points to 12.
   • Set the time using the small wheel on the back of the movement
   • Install an AA battery and you are DONE!
8. Assemble the dial to the stand by aligning the triangular hole on the back of the movement over the triangle
standoff on the stand. Depending on printing, the fit may be a bit snug but it should fit without pressing too hard
