This animal head (alongside its accompanying Ram head, also on Scan the World) originally decorated the livestock pens at the Metropolitan Cattle Market. They are cast from iron and were designed by John Bell, who also created part of the Albert Memorial (online) in Hyde Park.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
