An Egyptian inspired dish to serve your friends dates or other sweets from.
The helical support adds lightness to the feel of the dish so it seems to float on top of the table.
Or just use as a stand for displaying any thing you want.
Quite hard to print this without supports but it is possible, as the helix and dish have such a large unsupported overhang it has to be printed with care and slowly. I printed this one at 0.15 layer height but I think 0.10 would have been better. To hepl reduce vibrations of the stand I slowed everything down but ended up with a very long print time of 3 days or so, I would give 60mm/s a go now!
