Recommended print settings with a .4 mm nozzle:
- Layer Hight: .150 ~.160 mm, depending on motors and gearing
- 2 perimeters or shells (0.90 ~0.96 mm)
- 6 bottom layers (0.9 ~ 0.96 mm)
- 6 top layers (0.9 ~ 0.96 mm)
- Infill ~20%, depending on infill type
Additional items needed for assembly
- Medium CA or Epoxy
Please note that the parts are designed so that the body is mounted from one side of the model first, then the frame is attached to the other side with your adhesive of choice.
1- Carefully cut an opening of appropriate size for the receiver box – Approximately 26mm X 63 mm (1 1/16” X 2 1/2”). Please double check these measurements with the actual printed part, before cutting the opening.
2- Dry fit the receiver box in the opening cut in the step above. Trim the opening as required to get a snug fit - Not a tight fit!
3- Once satisfied with the fitting of the receiver box, remove it and apply medium CA glue (or epoxy) to the mating surfaces. Re-install the receiver box in the opening to have it bond, then allow the glue to cure.
4- Attach the receiver box frame with medium CA glue (or epoxy) on the other side of the fuselage, bonding it to the outside of the receiver box.
Note: Medium CA glue (or epoxy) is recommended. However, feel free to substitute any other appropriate adhesive you may have on hand.
