Hi!
Sometimes i make weird things with Arduino boards.
A few weeks ago i make a Arduboy (for more info visit http://www.arduboy.com) clone with some buttons, screen, speaker and a Pro-micro soldering into a 70x50 mms piece of board.
The circuit is feeded with 2 little 3V bateries or by USB.
For any question about electronics and how to connect all the things please visit the Arduboy Community ( https://community.arduboy.com ). There's a lot of info and amazing people who develop games, software, hardware... and they are very pleased to help.
Once the Arduboy clone seems to work i designed this simple case.
There's two versions: One with a cross-hat for the direction buttons an other with 4 round buttons.
The back and top pieces are joined with two M2 screws (you can also use 2.5 screws)
The components i've used are:
- Arduino Pro Micro
- OLED 1.3''
- Speaker
- Potentiometer (control the volume of the speaker)
- Switch buttons (recicled from broken mouses) but available at very low price in ebay or any electronics shop.
The cost of all electronis it's between 10-15€. Most of them buyed from China on ebay.
Also the Screen uses the Driver SSH1106 not compatible with the original Arduboy library but in the community it's easy to found a variation of the original library for different micros and screens.
Easy to print, no supports, no special configurations, just print, assemble with 2 screws and enjoy.
Designed in 123DDesign, i've included the original file, i encourage you to remix the design or modify for your needs.
Have fun!
