Fish are a symbol of wealth and characterise the saying 年年有余。 Nian Nian you yu means prospering year after year. Yu, fish in Mandarin, is the same pronounciation as ample or plentiful. Lotus are a symbol of tranquility and longevity, this stems from its calm nature. With the combination of the three symbols, they culminate in the saying 福禄寿禧！ - We wish you good luck, career progression, longevity and happiness.
