Here we have a Full 3D Printed Persistence of vision 360 LED Globe Display. There are many ways to make it according to your expertise in electronics, but I'm going to explain this V1 which has the intend to be the easiest version.

Resolution: 60x22 & 60x11

List of materials:

• 1m x APA102 LED Strip (144 LED/m) 
• Arduino Uno
• 1x 44e402 Hall effect sensor
• 1x 9V Battery
• 1x Magnet
• 1x Arduino's 9V Battery connector 
• 1x 12V 3000RPM DC Motor
• 1x 120AC to 12VDC convertor
• Extras:Cables, silicone gun, soldering iron, cutter, tape, belts, etc

This V1 consist in 2 printed parts:

You can use  (1) with two LED strips at the same time, so basically you have 2 displays to play with. One display (the biggest) has 80mm of radio and the other has 120mm.

Instructions:

After printing, take the motor at fit it into (2), it's very important to guarantee and stable motor, use sand paper in case that the motor doesn't fit. Remember to previously connect the 120AC to 12VDC converter, in order to operate the motor.

Then take (1) and fit it into the motor's rotor.  After that cut the LED strip in two pieces: 22 LEDs and 11 LEDs. Connect cables to each side according to the strip indications, and then Glue the strip to each side with the silicone gun.

Once the Strip is glued, it's time to make connection. Put the arduino on top of (1). In the code PIN 11 is DATA and PIN 13 is CLOCK. After that glue the Hall effect sensor on back side of the biggest arch, facing the motor. BE careful with the polarity of the sensor. Test where is the best place to set the magnet, it depends of your hall sensor configuration.

After the magnet and the hall sensor are glued and working (test it with the arduino, PIN 3), connect the arduino to the 9V battery, and put it on top of the arduino (I recommend to covert it with black tape). 

Upload the code to the arduino (Code is attached at the end) 

Organize cables and other loose parts that might fly when the motor is on. Use straps, belts or tape to hold the arduino (be extreamly careful). 

Turn on and enjoy it!
