The print in place PRACTICE balisong is completely blunt and is not intended to cut or stab any person or thing, to modify this object to do so could be considered illegal in certain parts of the world.
The PRACTICE balisong is a no assembly required print. meaning that all you need to do is drop in the stl, print it out, and just do a little cleanup. no bolts, screws or pins to worry about. If you find the action to be a little sticky, a little bit of mineral oil in the two pivot areas will help smooth things out.
This file is not intended to scale down due to the tolerances used. However if your printer does not have as high a resolution to allow for .2mm gaps, the object could be scaled up to provide more room for the pieces to move. But at a certain point the distance of the gaps would make the device difficult to operate. I used 0.2mm layer height 1.6mm shell thickness to make certain parts like the "blade" solid 50% infill thou there would be little difference if you went with 100% I would also suggest using all over support to help keep some of the surfaces cleaner.

A little more sanding for aesthetics and smooth function. Printing it at 0.2mm was exactly what I needed since 0.1mm seemed a little too tight, but I could see it working with some elbow grease. I can't put it down! It's so nice.
