Welcome to Denver, the Mile High City!
MiniWorld celebrates Denver and Colorado with a collection of landmarks, this model is part of the Denver Collection!
Union Station is the main hub of transportation in Downtown Denver, Colorado. Dating from the beginning of the XX century, it was renovated in 2013 and now receives light rail lines, the Amtrak train, and regional and local buses. It also houses a hotel, several restaurants, and shops.
This model features the Great Hall, designed in the Beaux-Arts style, with architectural elements such as tall, multi-story arched windows and bays on the facade and in the interior, terrazzo floors, a barrel vault spanning the entire width of the Great Hall, two exterior clocks, a metal canopy along the elevation of the structure, and other classical elements (from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_Union_Station).
MiniWorld is excited to bring this historical model to life! All models are made by hand and brain from scratch in SolidWorks to ensure printability, please give credit, it's all about spreading culture and education!
MiniWorld is the collection of 3D printable models of landmarks of the world.
Printed @ 162.5% scale, .1618 layer height, 30% infill, 5 top/bottom layers, 3 shells. No raft, auto-generated supports were fine in S3D, may depend upon slicer. Also take care when removing supports from under the sign, very delicate work. I actually broke a post when removing mine, so be gentle and mindful of where they are located.
