“Untitled” is a table lamp inspired by telescopic objects.
It is designed to be a support free print, meaning there is no waste material created during manufacture. In addition to this the entire lamp prints in just two parts, with the mechanisms working straight off the print bed!
The two printed parts are very easy to assemble: the lampshade, inspired by a low poly light bulb, is printed support free and it has a slot which can accomodate a LED light (in my case I used a simple 3 led strip powered by a 9v battery).
The base features a print in place telescopic arch, an inner space to accomodate a standard battery box of 69 x 33 x 21 cm (which can be bought HERE) and a phone/tablet/book holder obtained thanks to 4 inner rotary joints.
The front holder makes this lamp suitable for different environments like offices, living rooms, kitchens or bedrooms.
It was designed using Rhino 3D CAD which also decided its name “Untitled”. :)
It was printed in white PLA with 10% infill an 0.2 mm res.
