Vernier Caliper Box KEEP OFF message sliding lid version

I have modified the files to prevent overhang issues, for the sliding parts. (45 °)

I have added "KEEP OFF" text message and an embossed image of a Dial Vernier Caliper on the sliding lid.

Putting together I noticed some issue that need tweaking...

This design has now been fixed ...

ABS, Nozzle 235°C, Heat Bed 110°C I had some curling that some filing fixed for me with this print.

It is in fours part because of the size, and some parts need to be fastened together. I uses 100% pure Acetone for this ABS 3D Print.

I recommend ABS filament and 100% pure Acetone to stick, weld parts together

All files are under construction. I Carried out some test printing on an older hinged version, hinges would be too weak, (layer directions, etc), so this is a sliding lid version.

I have four parts now use a "KEEP OFF" message sliding lid, untested as a printed model at this time.

Notches added to "Sliding_Lid_Head_Vernier_Caliper_Box_Keep_Off.stl"

Hinges would not be strong enough, (layer directions, etc), or just too big to make them strong enough. So I have changed the design to have a sliding lid version.

These two files make the Sliding Lid and need to be stuck together. e.g. ABS Juice, friction welding, etc..

Split in half files so they are easier to print on a smaller build area:-

Note the Body parts are still about 178mm wide so a bigger printer area is required.

I have tried to make a space for a dial gauge if you have this type of Vernier Caliper.

There is space for a battery, bigger diameter size if needed, tilting by pressing on the right of the battery for easier access and some spaces for any parts..
