Wonderful model. Great fun to print, assemble, and paint.

Modified with magnets in the swing arm and a spring on the hammer to keep the mechanism from wearing out.

19 hour print, hatchbox red filament 195 deg on painters tape PLA, .3mm 10% infill. Supports on the whole thing. Used almost 3\4 of a roll. parts required some clean up and fitting but wasn't an issue. This thing is huge! Awesome design goes together nice.

Freshly printed. Came out great, thank you for the files. I will update after painting.

I printed it with an Ultimaker 2 in ABS filament, layer heigh 0.2mm, 10% infill, 90mm/s speed, and it tooks about 30 hours to print all parts for me. I sliced the thorn handle in 2 parts, right and left for an easier print.

Printed on my ROBO 3D R1 than given a nice simple paint job.

Still need to do a lot of sanding and painting but this thing printed great. Slicing it with the notches made assembly a breeze. My son will love this. FYI the color choices were not intentional, just what I had loaded when printing. Everything is getting painted.

Finished up my first attempt on this. May do another version as I had some alignment issues with some parts and could probably print at a higher quality setting. Needs some clean up for painting, but I think it turned out great. Thanks to Kirby for letting me bother him on Twitter :P

I just started 3d printing at Christmas, this was my first project and it came out beautifully. Thank you for the design. I attached a 3/8" extension spring to the hammer so that it kicks back when the trigger is pulled.

My 4th print ever. Need practice hiding the seams, but i dig it. Accidently broke off the small pin that you attach an elastic to (on the hammer) the first time. Printed on Polaroid "premium pla"

Here is my thorn. this was a great first build. Printed on ender 3.

My thorn. I just got started about 2 months ago, so this is my biggest print yet. Had some issues with the registration keys after scaling, but counting that under my inexperience. Great looking piece and very happy in it's new home.

Im still cleaning it up but its going. put in a metal spring. I needed to sand the trigger and hammer. It tends to stick after paint

Awesome Design! I used both resin and PLA to make mine. Barrel 1&2 and Handle are resin. The rest in PLA Grey. Still have some painting I want to add to make it look more worn.

Great model to and assembly was easy. Printed it at 25% for a show piece on my desk.

Amazing model, I did some changes on the STL, like hollowed the main body to add leds. Thanks so much for the model.
