Description
Your party ventures deeper into the dungeon, a narrow corridor finally opens into a small chamber. The air is heavy with the musty scent of damp stone, and a faint, eerie silence hangs in the air. In one corner, a macabre sight greets your eyes. A pile of bones, stacked haphazardly as if they were the remnants of many a forgotten prisoner's demise. They cast unsettling shadows in the dim light opposite the solitary torch that sputters and flickers casting a feeble wavering glow that barely illuminates the surrounding area. In the center of this eerie chamber rests a wooden table, set with crude plates and a lively, untouched meal - a prisoner's last desperate feast before their unknown fate befell them. A sickly-sweet odor wafts from the table and the food appears unnaturally vibrant in color, almost as if it were a dangerous concoction meant to deceive the desperate. The sight of this solitary table evokes a sense of melancholy, with a hint that this room holds secrets and dangers yet to be uncovered.
My goal here was to paint something that was bright and vibrant enough to show off all the details and yet still invoke the sense of a damp dark dungeon with an eerie and foreboding feeling. I didn't want to spill any object source lighting or directional light sources onto other tiles because of the modular nature of the set. Hopefully you all like it and things come off the way I intended.
All prints were done in ELEGOO water washable resin.
Pictures were shot using a Sony A7C with kit lens inside of a light-box.
All paints used were ProAcryl.
Note: I had to delete the old images to get these to show up for some reason. I was able to edit it but none of the changes actually took affect.
