This door from the Waddesdon Manor is typical of the Baroque style. Indeed, if the rest of the Manor is rather in a Neogothic architecture, the interior design resembles the Italian Baroque, which followed the Renaissance in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Baroque movement's specificity is that it is dominated by unicity: all parts participate to one whole. That is why there is unicity in the motifs of Baroque which creates a harmony typical of this movement.
